Web Copy That Sells - Great Web Copywriting Book Review

Just finished "Web Copy That Sells" By Maria Veloso, and wow what a book. Every web marketer, or anybody thinking about starting a web business should read it.

What I like about the book was, other than the fact that is was well written, it was well organized.

The book really explains and compares the difference between copywriting offline, the traditional sales page, direct copywriting, to online copywriting.

It gets deep into the different levels of online copywriting such as, email marketing, text ads, banner ads, ezine ads, sales letters and squeeze pages (or landing pages).

Also the book does a great job of giving you the overall business model of some of the top online companies.

Maria worked for legendary marketer Mark Joyner. So a lot of the principals that made Mark Joyner a success, and the principles of Aesop Market (Mark Joyner's Marketing Company) is in this book.

The best part about the book, the thing that Maria did a great job at is that she really makes you realize how important web copy is.

Web copy is basically any words used on the web to communicate with potential customers and visitors.

She talks about the two primary types of text online, which is copywriting text, and content text.

Everything from emails, to ads, to forum messages, to landing pages, to sales pages, to Google AdWords or text ads etc. It is all the same thing.

Everything that is important to a business owner online has something to do with web copywriting.
